Business & Fitness are the Same ? let me show you what ive seen over the last 19 years running a business and working in the fitness an coaching world

 

How so ?

to succeed at business you have to/ or may have chosen to do the following

1. set a goal

2. learn the skills/abilities to succeed in your particular industry

3. work your ass off daily doing the grind

4. workout if its working, adapt and move forwards

5. wake up, rinse and repeat

 

Yes thats a really simple version but you catch my drift im sure.

 

to succeed in fitness/health/building a great body you have to do the following

  1. set a goal
  2. learn the exercises/techniques/calories/portion size for the goal
  3. work your ass off daily doing the grind
  4. workout if its working, adapt and move forwards
  5. wake up, rinse and repeat

 

Most fitness people i know with the right direction and coaching can succeed in business as they have a similar mindset to top businesspeople . The same applies on the flip side as the competitive nature of business leaders means they can be extremely competitive and goal oriented in the gym.

Lessons i learned you can apply

 

  1. to be successful you have to be willing to put in the work daily
  2. clear outcome and process goals are needed for success
  3. getting a mentor or coach is critical to collapse time and get you there quicker and hold you accountable on the journey.
  4. the endorphin rush of the deal or the great workout can elicit the same addictive feeling
  5. business success without body and health success is a sure fire way of getting sick/ill and less productive in the long game.

 

 

Be present in your workouts or sport and get completely lost/immersed in it and make sure to do the same when you are in the business environment as one of the biggest mistakes i see
