The One Thing is a great book by gary keller, in fact wanted to read it for ages and just finished the audio book, heres why i like it
highlights the following
1. get clear on what is important
2. dont multitask
3. what are the few key things that give you maximum results
4. successful people focus on one thing over and over until mastery is achieved.
Lots of other great points are covered in the book but i mention the above to give the concise take away points of the book for me.
I have always preached on about the pareto law of 80:20 in business, fitness, nutrition and all areas of your life.
Gary highlights how people try to be busy and create the longest to do list to somehow celebrate avoiding the one thing you should be doing !!!
Often for business people and successful people there is one task/thing/purpose that once done/completed with have a floodgate type outcome and a domino effect that may far outweigh completing 20 smaller tasks in that day.
I highly advise you have a read of the book “the one thing” by gary keller and let us know your thoughts
